macOS requirements

Apple Silicon is required. The minimum configuration names an Apple M2 Pro, macOS Sequoia 15.7 or newer, 16 GB memory and 90 GB storage. The recommended configuration names an Apple M4 Pro, 24 GB memory and 90 GB storage. Intel Macs are not supported by the published requirement.

Read the specification without shortcuts

A minimum requirement is an entry condition, not a promise for the largest map, highest settings or a fixed frame rate. Transport simulations can become CPU-heavy as networks and cities grow, while resolution, shadows and detailed vehicles place more pressure on the GPU. Compare both parts of the computer instead of focusing on one headline component.

Laptop model names need extra care. A mobile GPU can perform differently from a desktop card with a similar name, and cooling or power limits can change sustained performance. Confirm the complete model in the operating system or manufacturer specification. On Windows, Task Manager and DirectX Diagnostic Tool can identify the processor, memory, GPU and dedicated video memory.

Storage capacity is not the same as free working space. The published 90 GB figure covers the game requirement, while updates, shader caches, saves and mods may need additional room. An SSD with comfortable free space is the safer setup.

When your system sits between minimum and recommended, wait for performance coverage using the same resolution and map scale you plan to use. Compare a populated late-game network, not only an empty opening scene. That test answers the practical question the specification table cannot: whether the simulation remains comfortable at your intended scale.

  1. Compare the exact CPU model, not only the Core i5/i7 or Ryzen 5/7 family label.
  2. Check dedicated VRAM as well as the GPU name; the Windows and Linux minimum calls for 4 GB.
