What is in the preorder pack?

The announced pack contains three in-game items: the TS Queen Mary historical steamer, the Great Pyramid of Giza landmark and an Asian elephant for tropical regions. These items are separate from the Deluxe Edition list.

That separation matters when comparing store cards. Deluxe includes its own vehicles, landmarks, animals, maps and extras; it does not turn the three preorder items into permanent Deluxe contents. Recheck the exact store description if ordering after launch, because availability language can change when the preorder period ends.

What does the Deluxe Edition add?

The six named vehicles are Concorde, London Bus, Trans-Europ-Express, Peterbilt 359, Hong Kong Tram and Sikorsky S-76 Spirit. Its two landmarks are the Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal. The four wildlife additions are orca, Komodo dragon, boar family and bison.

Deluxe also lists three handcrafted maps—Redrock Bends, Northern Gates and Emerald Shores—plus Tycoon Cars, fun elements and franchise soundtracks. These are variety additions. The official description does not present Deluxe as required for the normal campaign, tycoon mode, sandbox, base cargo systems or core map editor.

What is in the Collector's Edition?

The physical package includes a Deluxe Edition game key delivered by email, a 13 cm hero statue, a 200-page hardcover artbook, a vehicle-themed card game, stickers, a train-inspired metal keychain, a double-sided poster, a music box with a soundtrack-access ticket, and a signed thank-you card. It also lists the preorder bonus.

The first production batch is limited to 10,000 copies. Shipping is described as available to most major markets across Europe, the United States and Asia, but actual destination eligibility, stock, delivery timing and import charges should be checked in the official merchandise store before payment.

How does the loyalty discount work?

The official rules name four important conditions:

  1. You must own Transport Fever 2.
  2. You must buy or preorder Transport Fever 3 on the same platform.
  3. You must use the same account.
  4. The eligible purchase must be Standard or Deluxe before the offer expires 14 days after launch.

The published wording does not include the physical Collector's Edition. It also does not promise that ownership on one platform unlocks a discount on another. If the discount is missing, confirm account and platform first, then use the official store or support channel rather than an unofficial key seller.

Which edition should you buy?

Choose Standard when you want the complete base transport-management game and do not value the named cosmetic, vehicle, landmark, wildlife, map or soundtrack additions enough to pay the difference. Choose Deluxe when those specific digital extras are worth the premium; compare the named list instead of relying on a generic “best value” label.

Collector's is primarily a physical memorabilia purchase. Its value depends on the statue, artbook, card game, poster, music item and limited production, not on an exclusive core gameplay mode. Check shipping and returns before ordering because a physical international purchase has different risks from a digital store purchase.

Storefront and platform notes

PC, macOS and Linux are announced through Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are confirmed console platforms. A PC game key in the Collector's package should not be assumed to work on a console, and a platform choice should not be made solely for an unconfirmed feature such as cross-save.

See the release guide for platforms and languages and the system requirements guide before choosing PC. Last checked: 9 September 2026 against the official release announcement and official FAQ.
